CCA ACTIVITY REPORT – 2026–27
Activity: Investiture Ceremony | Date: 04 July 2026
The sixth CCA activity of the session, Investiture Ceremony, was conducted on 04 July 2026. The programme was organised to provide students with an opportunity to take up leadership responsibilities and to develop qualities such as discipline, confidence, cooperation and a sense of responsibility towards the Vidyalaya.
Before the ceremony, students interested in taking up leadership positions participated in an interview process. The interviews were conducted by a panel comprising Shri Vikas Singh, PGT Hindi; Shri Jitendra Kumar, TGT Art; and Shri Yogesh Kumar, PGT Economics. The panel interacted with the students and considered their suitability for different leadership responsibilities. Based on the interview process, the student leaders were elected for the respective positions.
The elected student leaders were Deep Paying and Trishna Bhujel of Class XII as Vidyalaya Captains. Raj Chetry and Madhuri Gogoi were elected as Vice Captains. Aditya Kewat and Rieya Sonar were elected as Cultural Captains, while Darpan and Prarthana were elected as Discipline Captains.
During the programme, the newly elected leaders were formally entrusted with their responsibilities. Teachers guided them about the importance of working together, maintaining discipline, helping fellow students and carrying out their duties sincerely. The student leaders were encouraged to communicate effectively with students and teachers and to contribute positively to school activities.
The ceremony was conducted in a formal yet encouraging atmosphere. It gave the students a practical experience of leadership and helped them understand that leadership involves responsibility, cooperation and service to others. The participation of students and teachers made the occasion meaningful and memorable.
Outcome: The Investiture Ceremony was completed successfully. The programme provided a valuable opportunity for students to develop leadership skills, confidence and a sense of responsibility. The newly elected leaders were encouraged to perform their duties sincerely and become positive role models for their peers.
